In the heart of the Ile de Ré, just a stone’s throw from Ars-en-Ré, our family campsite opens its doors to you from April 4 to September 28 , 2025. Whether you’re visiting in high or low season, our reception desk is open from 10am to 1pm and from 3pm to 7pm, guaranteeing a smooth start and end to your stay.
We’re delighted to welcome you and your pets to all our chalets and pitches, for a small extra charge. For book lovers, a selection of books is available on loan from reception, ideal for relaxing in our wooded grounds.

We offer free Wi-Fi access throughout the campsite. Whether you want to share photos of your island adventures, keep in touch with your family or simply plan the next day’s activities, our Wi-Fi service guarantees a reliable connection anywhere, anytime.

The campsite’s fully-equipped laundry makes life easier
Conveniently, our campsite has a launderette with washing machines for 6€ and tumble dryers for 4€. Whether you’re staying for a short break or an extended vacation, our campsite with laundry facilities is here to meet all your needs.
Charging stations for electric cars on the Ile de Ré
Travelling by electric car? Our campsite has charging points for electric cars, free of charge for our customers, with 7kw sockets.
Our aim is to promote sustainable tourism and meet the needs of environmentally conscious holidaymakers, enabling them to recharge their vehicles at no extra cost.
Additional rental equipment
Additional rental options are available for a more relaxing stay. You can rent :
- towels for 5€ (including one large and one small),
- sheets at €10 per bed,
- A baby kit is available for €2 a day, including a high chair, cot and bathtub,
- fridges are available for €5 a day, with a minimum rental period of four days, offering convenience and practicality for all stays.
Campsite playground and petanque area
Your children’s happiness is guaranteed at Camping Les Dunes! Theplayground is sure to delight your children and make lots of new friends.
Our campsite is also equipped with a comprehensive sports infrastructure to keep holidaymakers entertained and fit. In addition to our play area specially designed for the little ones, you’ll find a petanque court and a table tennis table, guaranteeing fun and physical activity in the great outdoors.
For those wishing to play pétanque or ping-pong, rackets are available on loan from reception, allowing you to take full advantage of these facilities without worrying about equipment. Whether it’s a spirited game with friends or an impromptu family competition, our sports facilities promise moments of relaxation and laughter, strengthening bonds and creating indelible memories on the Île de Ré.
Snack bar open in high season
During high season, from July 1ᵉʳ to August 31, the campsite snack bar opens its doors from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, offering pizzas, crispy fries or refresh you with cold drinks. What’s more, the option of taking these delights to go means you can enjoy these moments of outdoor bliss.
Shops near the campsite at Ile de Ré
Just 800 meters away, you’ll find all the shops you need: a grocery store, a local market for fresh regional produce, a bakery and a butcher’s shop.
Food lovers will also be delighted to find restaurants offering tasty cuisine, perfect for sampling the island’s specialities.
